Hope everyone has a good time tonight whether at the game or back here!!! He'll be no use as a politician. He answers questions fully and sticks with his manifesto. Our best signing in years.

I wonder how many other people on the Iceland trip were also there 37 years ago. Less than 20? Me for 1, I flew to Belgium on the official club charter back then. ETA I don't remember my head throbbing quite as much as it is this morning back in my prime. Too much Gull last night. Two paracetamol and we go again in true football parlance. Yesterday both teams were similar odds to win, now Valur are clear favourites. Valur 5/4 Draw 13/5 St Mirren 8/5 Valur were tipped up as one of the 3 best bets of the week by the European football column in the racing post. That might well have influenced it. When you read his reasoning it was hard to disagree with it from a purely neutral point of view.
Lola montez
I looked at the odds yesterday and the app had a line saying Valur are unbeaten in their last 9 home games, I know the opposition they came up against might be lower league standard but momentum can be huge. I’d be happy with a draw. COYS

Competitive game time and home tie gives them advantage on paper, though I'd back our players to be ready for the challenge.
Stu
Assuming we're in our home kit tonight as Valur are in red - just so I know whether to put on the stripes or an away kit from 1998 or 2003
meadowroadsaint
I wonder if there will be a Match Programme for the tie tonight, e-mailed SLO the other day but nothing back yet.....

So who knows?

I don't follow: why would your assumption be that we'll be in our home strip if they are in red? Surely we'll just play in the away?

Buttocks Brown
The last 2 seasons, we didn't turn up in our first competitive match (Arbroath and Montrose). Hopefully, lessons learned.... Also, we're a couple weeks on in July from those games so should be better prepared.

A pet hate mine - with all clubs, not just ours, is wearing your away kit when there's no need. Must be a commercial thing to encourage more people to buy it.

To be honest I think this became the norm when the terminology changed from "change strip" to "away strip".
