The European football level St. Mirren FC 2024/25 thread

That was a hard watch, looked like one of those early season league cup ties. We should have scored at least two or 3 goals but the same problem from last season, we can’t score goals.
It’s still early days but the midfield just doesn’t work for me. The lack of genuine wide players is terrifying.
McMenamin and Kiltie are a huge miss.

At least we never conceded and have every chance of winning the return leg.

I hope that wasn't CBM on the bench in the 2nd half holding crutches.

I hope not. I’d be surprised. He sustained the injury earlier and played on, but looked to me like he just wasn’t fit to continue. Be surprised if he’d ended up in crutches.

Finally got on the stream at the start of stoppage time. Going to watch it back and see if we manage a goal this time.

Spotted the erstwhile HowardHughesInBlueSuedeShoes in the short bit I saw.

Aye he featured in one of the B&WArmy photos on Twitter last night.

Yes, crutches and a moon boot. Hopefully it’s just an ankle strain and the boot is a precaution for the flight home.

One of the strangest 0-0's I've watched.  We could easily have scored 4 but Balcombe could also have been MOTM.

They were so shaky at the back, have to be looking to turn them over next week at the Feegie Fortress.

And have to agree with others, how good was the commentator? I did fear the worse when I heard the Yankee twang but he was fantastic!

I wasn't 100% sure as it was a fleeting glimpse.

Home game sold out.

Great to see.

I would have taken a draw before the game. We have a great chance now to progress at home in front of a sell out crowd. An early goal to get the crowd going and I think we'll win comfortably. I will take any win, though - even on penalties. Looking forward to it, but will no doubt be nervous. This is a huge opportunity.

Good performance by the goalie tonight. Looking like another good loan signing there which is good.

I'd have taken an away draw before the match, so not going to grumble too much.

GKs distribution is top notch , will be a big factor  this season !
