Dirty Arab 83
I heard that one of the reasons Big Yogi fell out with the board at Inverness was their refusal to allow him to talk to Tannadice regarding the then vacant managers job................just saying . invergowrie arab
What's allowing me to sleep at night is the idea we won't sack and go 6 weeks looking to recruit. His replacement will be ready to go next day which is what the board are working on. Please no one disabuse me of this comfort.
mishtergrolsch
Och wee Spittal could be doing alright. I actually dont care. He was absolute horse shit for us and im glad hes gone. We cant carry a player like that at the moment. He only turned up for us the first half dozen games after he joined us and then with about 5 games to go last season. Everything between was said horse shit. Unfortunately we cant afford to keep this manager either and there are tons of out of work managers that would do a better job than this guy. 5 goals this season from one of the supposed favourites before the season started. 2 of which were v two part time teams. One of which was a free kick. Good job, Ray. 1 hour ago, Shadow Play said: Seems United could do with a player like that. Stats showing United didn't have a shot on target yesterday against the second bottom side in the fun league. That's despite the fact Scott Media Star McDonald was playing. Makes you wonder if McKinnon's simply not capable of getting the best out of his players. We could start with Messi and Neymar up front and Raymorinho would have us launching diagonal balls from the full backs over their heads and out for a goal kick. Then say we'll be "bang at it next week" before questioning their "desire and hunger". The man is out of his depth.

As for Spittal, we will never know whether players like him and Telfer would have done better at United under a decent manager but that's water under the bridge know. Sarto Mutiny
Yogi can get to f**k. "Here lads, why don't we appoint the guy who relegated Raith Rovers?"Er, naw
Sarto Mutiny
Would he do worse than the guy who got Raith into the playoffs? Yogi also got Raith into the playoffs tbf. Just not the same ones
wardy83
Here's an interesting stat for all the keep Ray gang. 2017.....we have won 7 games out of 23 (excluding play offs and cup). In that time we've won by more than ONE goal ONCE. And goal difference in same period is minus 5. With the 2nd biggest league budget last season and the biggest this season. Now defend away. Interesting stuff. Can't think of any Arabs on here defending Ray tbh; there seems to be an acceptance, reluctant or otherwise, that he doesn't have what it takes. 1320Lichtie
I think Hughes would be an excellent appointment. Yes he looked like a right diddy last season but he was taking over a Gary Locke team. 'Raymourinho' [emoji23]

RandomGuy.
Yes, a struggling team who are approaching a financial problem if they don't sort of long term problems is exactly the situation you bring Hughes into. It's not as if he's got a history of leaving clubs absolutely fucked on and off the park.
Aladdin
Ray has to go. I think he was the right appointment at the time and its sad, and somewhat unexplainable, that it hasnt worked out. Hes been backed though and has his own team on the park, yet we look worse than last season. The scary thing is if he goes, we will surely have to pick someone out of work. This will inevitably raise the spectres of Hughes, Pressley and, whisper it, Hartley.
