At this stage though cannot be fussy for centre backs. I presume we want sell on value in anyone we sign these days.

Hopefully we're now looking at a different level of player now that we're disgustingly rich. Farewell my handsome hat trick boy. Think whether it was injuries or just moving down the pecking order he always struggled if he wasn't starting or at least rotating in regularly. He's a streaky player so any time he's become peripheral he really struggles to make an impact when he does come on, as in recent times. Been a pretty good striker for us overall I would say, especially considering how much he struggled initially. Hope he has a good few years left in the EFL.

I obviously know very little to nothing about either but if just one of them improves us at CH, and one of Amos/Moriah-Welsh ends up doing the business as the more combative midfielder then between that and Marcondes/Maolida it looks like as decent as January gets. No idea what our best XI is right now mind you.

Aim Here
That's McKirdy dropped off the same place we picked him up from, same as Doidge.
Lyle Lanley
Good to see we’ve matched our January 2012 window with loan signings.
Les Cabbage
Trying to keep an open mind but to replace Doidge, a striker who was by no means perfect, but a threat and a handful with a literal child is absolutely wild. Totally and utterly fed up with the club, hope I’m wrong but signing 2 20 year old centre halves isn’t the solution to our problems either. When was the last loan player we signed from England with no connection to the club that went on to be a good player for us with the exception of CJ Egan Reilly? (Don’t say Will Fish, he costs us a goal every week).
Leith Green
Excellent window, all the problem areas covered for now, although we will need some to get match fit. Massive squad, lots to leave in the summer now.

Is it not the case that we replaced McKirdy, who didn't do much of anything, with the 18-year old? We replaced Doidge with that guy who scored the second goal against Killie a few days back.

Mayenda can’t possibly give us less return than McKirdy did either. Montgomery certainly needs to start winning some games now. Squad is much healthier and we’ll not have to rely on several 16 year olds off the bench any longer. Edited February 2 by Zing.
The Other Foot
Fantastic window. Feels too late to offer much of a challenge to Celtic now, but never say never.
Hoose Rice
Best window I can ever remember. Roll on the summer for even better. Win the Scottish Cup this year with the squad we have now and go from there.

Or you might just mean getting rid of McKirdy in which case, fair point
