Is anyone actually going to pay for this fight, let alone watch it?

It's akin to watching the Irish football team playing America at American football.

Total waste of time and it'll be the most one sided fights in the history of boxing.

Hello, Hibeebounce. Don't forget about the negative feedback.

Yeah. Probably literally more people than any other fight in the history of combat sports.

Really? Trotting out shite like "I don't care if it's in a ring or in the octagon" and "let's do 8oz gloves, let's do 4oz gloves" doesn't quite cut it when you've already carefully contracted against those things!

Got the better of the trash talk IMO. Pretty hard not to when he's made way more money, is undefeated and is a 19-year world champion. Conor going to have to come up with something new for the next press stops.

You are backing up him winning the night by quoting career stats, what did he do last night that won the trash talk for you? Trotting out his old chants and claiming he would fight with 4oz in an octagon is not trash talk, it's laughable and transparently bullshit!

Not saying McGregor won either btw. Neither of them done that well for me, hope it heats up from both sides over the next few days. Pretty stacked against McGregor though just doing monologues and Mayweather always going on last while McGregors mic is cut. McGregor thrives on the presser style UFC conferences with a bit of back and forward..best bit o the night was McGregor cutting into Mayweather's statements. Money doesn't want any of that!

There's not usually a difference between trash talk and bullshit tbf. McGregor looked pretty lost which is understandable, he's not used to it. It was easier for May because of what he's already done in the sport, the fact he had most of the crowd on his side and he could use McGregor's quitting to pointscore, to which Conor had no answer.

ETA: McGregor's "cutting in" to Mayweather's statements consisted of "yeah right" and "you're not gonna do shit" when Money was tearing him apart.

Didn't sound to me like the crowd were on Mayweathers side. I also don't agree that Mayweather "won" that conference. He's a wee bitch, saying he doesn't care if it's 4 ounce gloves and followed that with "don't lie to the fans". Hilarious.

The set up of the conference was pish. Sit them at a table, give them both a mic and let reporters ask questions. This speech bullshit was terrible and designed to stop McGregor running riot.

McGregor looked genuinely scared when Mayweather started talking, he Looked like he realised what he'd actually done and was needing to fight the best defensive fighter of all time.... give him a punchers chance if he can actually land which is very very doubtful.

Why would a man who fights monsters in a cage for a living be scared of the best 'defensive' boxer of all time? Bit of a contradiction, that.

Nah not really, McGregors chances of a win lay in a mistake in Mayweathers defense. Mayweather will he able to land whenever he wants in this fight and will be more offensive. If you watched the press conference you could see a genuine look of concern on his face.
