DukDukGoose
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48670833 Can understand his frustration but not sure what can we done to change the situation. Are Celtic moving any early league fixtures for glamour friendlies this season?

Clubs were only allowed to do that for the first two seasons of the earlier start since they were changed when we already had commitments.

The distortion of cash throughout Europe and the subsequent chasing of the pot of gold from clubs like ourselves and Celtic means we all play UEFA's merry dance, whilst they do their best to marginalise us from those competitions anyway.

If the clubs do well this season there is a chance we could miss a qualifier or two. So the clubs would get a better break next year.

Didn't realise that had stopped now. Good. 39 minutes ago, Dons_1988 said: It's the price diddy nations pay for chasing European football, exposure and cash. Agreed. Could the league finish a month earlier? We'd be at a massive disadvantage when it comes to the daft international games etc if we did. No doubt one of our teams would fluke a Europa League final spot and miss a month of football!
wastecoatwilly
Keeping the winter break is good for the players and the fans plus moving up the co-efficient table isn't impossible.
Connor7
Celtic pulled out of the Turnbull move after his agent was not happy with the deal offered. Boy will be away down south now.

nsr
Celtic could release a statement saying literally anything and their fans would believe it. They truly are a cult for the lowest intellects out there.

ropy
If Celtic were serious they would have given him the £20k per week, made him captain and asked him to pick the rest of the team
