If we are to have a reasonable season, home to Berwick is a game we would be needing to win. In all honesty they are a poor team and will definitely be bottom half.

Was a poor game. We did improve 2nd half but couldn't find the net with both goalies having a few decent saves.

we had a lot of the ball but collectively lack the goal threat required.

We had some decent chances today but let down with some very poor finishing. Buchanan gets himself into some very good positions but is so wasteful! Kyle Miller was an absolute passenger today too.

Bad day at the office to a very hard working and determined Berwick side. Fair fucks to them.

Bit worried after today.

Berwick are a pub team and Pat Scullion was their best player today. Managed today by a couple of oddballs who jumped about like the Chuckle Brothers on speed. And they beat us !

says it all really.

Would say we need a couple of old heids in the side to help the young boys.

Berwick came to shut up shop and hit on the break and fair play to them it worked.

Huge relief and a very welcome 3 points. Well done Berwick! Far and away the most important thing though is the clean sheet, indicating that we have found a way to defend after shipping goals for fun for the last 2 years.

Wasn't there, but sounds like 5 at the back, with Scullion just ahead of a back 4. Early days, and will be tough to continue that against a free scoring QoS next week (hope they field some fringe players), but promising all the same.

I await Berwick fans reports, but good to hear from a Cowden fan that we worked our socks off. Spirit still looks good then.

More than a bad day at the office. Four league games and scored two goals, another goal conceded from a cross.

Based on that performance, we need five or six players! And Miller should be strolling this league but he's been poor every game.

Your players did work their socks off what they lacked in ability they made up for in effort. Best team won.

Kyle Miller? Why should miller be strolling this league? Did he stroll it last season? Or any other season?

Nothing like an over reaction.

Granted, it wasn't great today and having Ali Smith (a defensive midfielder) up front was a strange tactical decision but I don't think massive changes are needs. A couple of experienced players in midfield and upfront would be nice but do we have the budget? The other strange decision was Robbie Buchanan being named Man Of The Match - once again, he was selfish and lost the ball a countless amount of times. No end product whatsoever.

Jamie Pyper was out best player today and actually has turned into a decent enough player. Not the most talented football you'll see but he tries hard.

Deano would still be in the team too if he hadn't had his problems. Not everyone disappears when a team gets relegated.

Behave yourself. No one has been knocking on the door for him. He looks out his depth in league two. Saying he should be strolling this league is nonsense.

That's the point, he has been poor but has loads of experience and played well at a much higher level. He should be doing much, much better.

Doubt if we have the money, but a couple of midfielders, a couple of forwards (we desperately need someone who can score) and a full back, that's already five.

Think it's the sponsors who select MoM. Robbie is indeed frustrating to watch gets in good positions then falls over the ball.
