Cardinal Richelieu
It's mediocre at best at home. It boggles the mind that people are willing to pay top dollar to drink it thousands of miles away.

It costs $2.65 for a 500ml can here compared to $2.55 for a 473ml can of Molson Canadian so it's far from top dollar. I used to buy the odd can as I like the beer and thought it was a nice little touch of home. But now all they sell is the Export beer, I'll stick to Canadian or Landshark

I’m not going to confuse my tastebuds, it will be draft all the way for me. All hail king T. The taxman still knows who you are
Bert Raccoon
I've fifteen minutes to kill before getting the Mrs at her work, plenty of time for a swift pint of glorious Tennents.

8MileBU
Sad to report that this seems to be the only Tennents they sell in Ontario now, and it's rank. Bring back the real T! I take it it’s brewed under licence over there as opposed to having been exported? Didn’t see Tennents anywhere last time I was in the U.S, though either Walmart or Publix(I forget which) had a fair selection of Innes & Gunn beers.

According to the cans its brewed at Wellpark and imported over. Innis and Gunn is much more widely available The Beer Store sells Original and Lager versions, The LCBO, on their website, at least seem to have quite a few varieties of Innis and Gunn and I've seen it in one of the few supermarkets here allowed to sell alcohol. While that's all very good, all I want is an Original Tennents in a silver can!

A worthy substitute for Tennents imo.

You do indeed get good old PBR here, stuff gives me gut rot the next day though. Seems to be the drink of choice for poorer folks and hipsters. The latter so much so that one bar I know of sells tall cans of PBR in a paper bag, to complete the edgy hipster look. ETA - Tennents is a far superior beer Edited February 7, 2018 by Torpar
