A great and vindicating point and another clean sheet. Lennon and Moore have taken one match - East Fife, their first - to realise our limitations and accommodate for them. And to be clear, those limitations were: a pool of midfielders and defenders who couldn't reliably form two lines of four without heavy concession; more than two goals a game, on average.

Home games approached the way today's was will end in three points against poorer sides. And there are a few of those, happily. We'll usher in the New Year in the habit of defending well, ready to sign two or three better quality players in January. Between then and the season's end, we'll be well placed to make a dash for 4th place.

God bless Danny Lennon.

Very few highlights from that game. First half was a complete nonevent with neither side threatening.

Second half and Montrose had much more possession but Currie didn't have a save to make. Clyde had the best chance of the half with a Munro header which was off target but looked close.

We gave up any pretence of playing with a midfield during the second half and went with a front 3 of Gormley, Goodwillie and Smart. Long balls were launched at them in the hope they could create a chance.

Four league draws in a row with only two goals scored and conceded. We've steadied the ship since Chapman left but I think we've left ourselves far much too do to make the play offs.
