I always found the insistence that Flo was a failure rather misleading. He is labelled a flop primarily for the obscene amount that Rangers paid to get him rather than a slight on his playing ability. His scoring record stands up against most; for example, to use the comparison above, Flo averaged more goals per game than Sutton up here.
Forest of Dean
Something going on behind the scenes. Potentially new investment? -

I think just looking at goals er game is a bit misleading; once Hartson came to Celtic Sutton played a lot of matches in midfield, and even sometimes in defence. He was also second striker to a young chap called Henrik. Flo had far more chances to get goals than Sutton and took a much lower proportion.

His legs have gone he doesn't play like that anymore, more a penalty box striker a bit like Kris Boyd. Tbf that is working out quite well for us atm. Cant see them being able to scrape his lowest wage expectation together however.

So even though we are hiring one of the most famous footballers of all time as a manager (who is huge in Asia) you think there is no chance of any outside investment at all? Despite that we are having a share issue? Everyone on here will be making the same exact comments again this summer about us having no money and will be proven wrong again. Only question is whether we spend it right but there will be money to spend. -
