Correct.

Renton resigned after 4 games, so for the only time in history it was decided to offer their remaining fixtures to another club. Hamilton played the last 14 games starting with 4 losses F2 A19.


Why was there briefly a Scottish League club in Dunblane?

I'll guess that King's Park played there briefly, after having their ground bombed in the war.

Hibs & Hearts met in the East of Scotland Shield Final in 1942-43. Despite heavy rain the pitch remained playable, but it was abandoned after 30mins.

Same day Raith Rovers v Aberdeen in the North-Eastern League Cup Final stopped on 46mins.
