Can someone compile McKenzies goal scoring stats with and without Bullen?

Massive result and hopefully a game that showed the new management team what’s required to upgrade the lacklustre squad. Two full backs first of all and definitely another midfielder.

Paddy was good today…

He got done once, and possibly one misplaced pass. Other than that he kept the ball well, got forward, won the ball back plenty and made several important tackles.

Was impressed with how he started and he got beyond Murphy a good few times but felt he resorted to type as the game went on. Undoubtedly better than McAllister though

I think that’s a bit harsh - though he did make a couple of mistakes but that’s always going to happen.

Hampden is such a woeful stadium you don’t get a particularly good view of the other side either.

Entirely fair.

He played well (by his standards). He got by Murphy but did he connect with a cross? He always seemed to pass it back the way or crossed it to no-one.

He's better than McAllister for sure but not convinced he's good enough if we want to kick on tbh.

Brown wants us to be patient though, so that will involve recycling the ball at times as opposed to firing the ball into the box. Our second goal the exact case in point.

Paddy did have a couple of good crosses into the box though.

As I said on the match thread. I'm glad of the win. Hopefully it's clear to Brown & Whittaker where we need to strengthen.

Special shout out to Bryden and McKenzie who both did well. Credit to both of them.

Going with the same lineup was obvious given last weeks result and him having 2 days with the team.

Subs were a mixed bag, Fraser for Jamie Murphy was odd. McGeady getting a game over Amartey will maybe not his favoured sub going forward after today.

McCallister played the part of a roundabout well, the last 20 minutes was played down his side and I don’t think he got anywhere near the ball.

We still resorted to the Bullen style of a goal being scored and we shit ourself and start trying to defend our 18 yard box.

A good win though, hard to see any Scott Brown stamp on the team obviously with him only coming in this week. Good because Queens Park are a lot better than they were and it puts a bit of a gap in place. Good also with a win next week unlikely, it gets Brown off to a winning start and hopefully keeps the confidence growing.

I didn't like the way we used all our sub windows but only got three subs on. Also the half time team talk seemed to make the team worse. Otherwise no coaching complaints.
