It won't harm the English game much, there may be less eyeballs on them from the Asian market but they will still generate enough revenue and will but players from the Netherlands, France etc but they will now be a feeder league for other leagues.

When the Asian market switches allegiance and Comcast renegotiate TV deals due to the decline of subscriptions / increase of piracy etc then it won't take long for the Chickens to come home to roost.

Couple that with the impact of a global recession, not just on the ordinary punter but on the Billionaire owners and their associated hedgefunds when they lose interest in their costly play thing and the whole rotting thing will start crashing down like a domino rally !!

The EPL is beyond any other league in terms of spending, 70% of that league can drop £30 million on a player. Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Spain, you are probably talking 10% It has killed the internal market in the EPL as everyone can afford each others players and pay them the going rate, Declan Rice moving to Arsenal was a rare example and is probably one of the top ten most boring transfers in world football.

Similarly, In the wake of the womens world cup, there were a lot of calls for equal pay between mens and womens football. The perception that every footballer is on a top end English salary, living an opulent lifestyle is not reflected in Scottish football.

If clubs were forced to pay equal wages between mens and womens teams, 90% of Scottish teams would ditch the womens team or go bust. There are senior teams that can't afford a youth setup.

All true but it can all change in an instant and when we're talking about the sort of money that these clubs are going through, then when things go wrong they REALLY go wrong.

It really is unsustainable, despite what they like to tell you.

Bullen literally said he wanted experience in the middle of the park about two hours ago 😂

Ill be incredibly impressed if we manage to scrap together a decent midfield out of kids that have played twelve games between the three of them.

Two starts in the national league two years ago, f**k me.
