Knowing both for 20+ yrs and knowing boths previous and current family involved within the club, as well as their own. Anyway, time will tell and I'll stand corrected if they change anything of worth, at all. And I'll even buy them a drink and tell them I shared this opinion.

I’d like to think they’d tell you to f**k off if you referred to them as “yes men” with zero ability to offer suggestions or try and make changes.

I musta offered 100 suggestions on here since joining. Okay, not everyone a winner but I try to be positive, forward looking and want what's best.

That is not what is going to happen, they won't influence shit or rock the boat. I actually said exactly the same about the previous SLO, funnily enough...... I've shared an opinion, you may not like or agree with it but I will stand by it and I will stand corrected if I'm wrong.

You and your angry pals from last night are getting quite aggressive on here. Its tragic that grown adults get so worked up about a football forum.

Two or three folk have said we should have built something.

where?

You are aware we didn’t buy the stand on a whim at IKEA, yeah? The stand was designed and built to specifications. It lacks the specifications to include a facility to house a camera gantry. There may be a plan that we are all not aware of which means this whole discussion is unnecessary.

The point?

You said the club should definitely have done something in the construction of the north stand to accommodate a camera position. All I have asked is where.

I agree that the cameras shouldn't be blocking the view of supporters who have dedicated seats. Thats on the club to make sure it doesn't happen.

In the plans for the north stand, could a camera position be accommodated, that wont block anyones view? that wont add excessive additional costs to the building of the stadium? bearing in mind we cant afford currently to finish it.

The last SLO was too busy sharing porn on his Twitter account to give a f**k about the role he had taken on back when we were still had a junior set up off the park.

f**kING THIS!!

We all know that the design was scaled back and the stand isn’t actually finished. Looking at the stand I have no idea where they could implement something for cameras but I don’t have a background in construction. I’m purely relying on David Smith to either have something in mind or come up with a solution. That is if he isn’t too busy telling our new SLOs to leave him alone as that’s obviously what he’s given them the role for.

Looking at the stand roof, there is no space for a gantry on the underside of it that it wouldn't block a view, on top of the stand, with the angle, you would be filming the top of players heads.

Make the roof shorter meaning it doesn't cover the north terrace? build a two tier stand to change the angle of the roof?

what are your suggestions? thats all I am asking for

We did just scud airdrie 5-0 last night, right?

We beat Hamilton last week and Mark McKenzie was shite.

We beat Airdrie and Dave Smith should have built a stadium solely for the purpose of television cameras and there is no jam in the empire biscuits.

I’m afraid this is a circular argument.  We didn’t include a location for a camera in the design of the stand therefore we built a stand with nowhere to locate a camera.    Personally I just assumed we’d do this given the limitations on camera positions in the main stand and the existing scaffolding/gantry next to the old hospitality suite being lost as part of the redevelopment.  Bit baffled as to why we didn’t.  On the best analysis it’s a missed opportunity.  But the fact the new camera position is actually blocking the view of season ticket holders is crossing the line into it being a bit of a screw up.  Get the cherry picker back!

You’ve stated this without anything to back it up so it’s about as valid as the opinions of people who actually enjoy empire biscuits.

You can criticise a lot of stuff but criticising two folk who haven’t been in the job a month is rubbish.

Overstepped the mark with that empire biscuit comment. Grow up.

Scott Brown currently in Nice so welcome to bring a French wonderkid back with him but probably end up with a camera tripod.

Is ignoring calls from a 27 y/o midfield destroyer.

We’re hijacking West Hams move for Todibo.

Or have the camera on the AU media scaffold on the other side of the pitch.

The club did a big push for north stand season tickets in the summer and block the view of some the first time they show up, like many things with the club, it tends to f**k up and react rather than make sure they don't f**k up in the first place.

5-0 against Airdrie and a winning start will mean we will likely be prominent in the next round of fixtures picked for Tv.
