Oakley is getting worse by the week and Bavidge looks out his depth. Not sure if we even count McKenzie as a forward anymore. It's not Top Trumps we can't just keep swapping out players every few months.

Had a good pre season and start to the season with Dowds and that partnership was working well then since the Dowds injury, has had multiple partners which haven’t suited (other than the obvious McKenzie/Oakley strike force which would be the best) and hasn’t really had any service.

A McKenzie/Oakley strike force is pretty much nightmare fuel for me. 2 immobile strikers who rarely score. Would much rather we went to more of a 4-3-3 set up with Henderson and McLennan providing some much needed pace and movement either side of Oakley. The obvious snag is who else do we have that could competently make up a midfield 3 with Dempsey and Rus. Howley doesn’t look interested and Brown clearly doesn’t trust or rate Syla. Is it outrageous to think a match fit Andy Murdoch could return in January?
ayrunitedfw
It’s 2024, we have signed 16 players yet Mark McKenzie is still being suggested as a viable option upfront. Dearie me

Dearie me I think someone suggested recalling Fraser Bryden.
