Think Dunbar beat Broxburn. High standards slipping HibeeJibee

Penicuik will be pleased that cup gates are not shared. Two bumper gates in 3 days cant be bad for the coffers. Bonnyrigg have a lot of games to play before they can say that.

It’s been Gold rated all season.Majority of the crowd? Not quite.I’m sure we’ll join every other club who has had a home cup this season in being glad gate money isn’t shared. I’m sure you’ll make it all back with your ‘big prize money’ so no worries!

Penicuik dominated the match for 90 minutes as the rose held on for dear life until the stone waller of a penalty with 5 to go.
Gimme
The first half last night was decent entertainment, defensive errors on both sides for the goals. Second half wasn't great, suspect most of those in the ground were getting prepared for extra time which was the last thing we needed. The pitch, don't think anyone can argue that it could be construed as being a little bumpy in places.Thought the ref was overly fussy at times and saw stuff no one else did, that said he did try to play advantage most of the time. Didn't think there was all that much between the sides but I'd be hopeful one or two of our missing players will be back for next Wednesday.

Bonnyrigg came from behind twice and then went onto win the game, now that's what you call character. A really good game for the neutral. The opening goals for both sides were poor and Penicuik's second was given as a own goal (apparently) and their keeper should have saved our second goal. Bonnyrigg should have went into the break ahead when we missed a great chance right on half time. So first half was pretty even. Second half Bonnyrigg started the better side and let Penicuik back into the game half way through the half but as a quality side do found a way to win the game. Stone wall pen as you said and then a cracking goal on the break. So all in all a fair result Edited April 25, 2019 by Bonnyrigg Vid
