Potted hOuGh
I hope all the top performing teams continue to compete over the season so the league remains interesting.
pandarilla
This is absolutely set up for disaster here. Absolutely. If shankland goes we will suffer badly. Yes we have the best team we've had in years but he adds so much. I'd still fancy us to stay up - but all talk of challenging for playoffs would be gone. While we still have him though, we've got a real chance in every game in this league, and the step up (ahem) against Dundee was relatively straightforward as well. I'm just enjoying every second of this team right now.

If Shankland goes (and that's still a big if) we would get a big fee plus the cash from our league cup run which all adds up to a huge "warchest" for this level of football. I'm not saying it would all be re-invested in the playing side but I'm sure a fair chunk would, which would be "off the radar" wealth for many of the clubs at this level. I still have nightmares about the invincible's v Airdrie thread from last season. ^ Absolutely, a few of us need to calm down. I think Saturday will be our sternest test yet. Let's take it a game at a time, until we play everyone once then we can get a gage of where we'll be.
Poet of the Macabre
Let's be nice to each other for a bit. What do you like about the other side? I think Ayr United have a lovely stadium and Andy Geggan is a gorgeous beast.

We’ve built up a nice wee contingent of ex Pars and one of those Moffat has returned to us a better player than when he left so that was good of you. Dunfermline also have great sausage rolls. Both your home and away will clash with our home strip so will we be in our pink strip on Saturday??

Surely we play in black and white as we're at home? Dunfermline can borrow the pink kit if they want.

When you're of a socialist mindset you don't go and flaunt a third shirt. It's about social inclusion and not social exclusion.

No_Problemo
I didn’t like Dunfermline very much I’ve recent years. However, I have grown to not mind them due to Moffat and Geggan. And of course, thanks to Raith Rovers.
