East Fife v Arbroath

Recommended Posts

We’re unbeaten in 2 Fife derbies so at the moment we are living in a weird universe. Let’s go back to circa 2008 when we were unbeaten against Arbroath in around 12 games or something.

Arbroath have a good squad and certainly should be up there and should be comfortably in the top 4.

East Fife 6 (Deuchar 3, Smart 3)
Arbroath 5 (Raeside 5)

Unfortunately McKenna is away at a wedding and will miss out but Hester will start and hopefully he'll get some goals.

Na, he will play McCord in the hole

Being a best man at a wedding probably rightly prioritised over a game of football IMO

This has been an irritation in part-time football forever, not really sure what can be done about it, the unfortunate thing is with MacKenna is he is in such good form

With McKenna out and after signing Smith I’d go

Jamieson

Thomson
Little
ToB
Hamilton

Whatley
Swanks

Smith
McCord
Linn

Wallace

Bit of extra pace with Smith over Kader, McCord getting a good chance too. If Hester starts though really hope he does well and takes his chance.

Swanks has had a good start to the season, he also has many qualities, but tackling is not one of them, so not sure of him in a defensive midfield role

Obviously didn’t see Swav Gankie cutting about the rock last week tackling anything with a pulse.

Aye just meaning centre mid, separated it just to put the 3 behind striker further up park, but Swanks been good deep dictating play and getting stuck in. Looking sharp
