Not a single bad performance in the team today, several great ones.

Miller, McGowan, Martin, Boyd, Kilgallon and... gulp... Dougie :o... all superb. Everyone else did their job well.

Next week is massive

Think you need to remember who you were playing we are the worst team in the league by a country mile and we ill be down by end of January.

You don't have 0 points.

Although I do agree that you are dreadful.

I still haven’t seen us score a goal at that ground.

Very poor performance all round but thought Hodson and Stephen McGinn in particular were awful. Edwards worked his arse off against Celtic but didn’t put much effort in today. Kirkpatrick doesn’t look anywhere near Premiership standard.

We need to ditch the long balls if we’re sticking with Mullen and Smith up top, especially against teams like Hamilton who’ll win every battle. The third goal was a beauty.

Oh St Mirren were rank, no question, but it doesn't change the fact that some of our players were very impressive

Truly awful second half from us.

Lost Baird and Magennis before the game, the Coulson after 30 minutes - so we end up with a right back playing centre half (can't remember him ever playing there before) a midfielder from the U20s playing right back, and a midfield with zero width.

Bottom line is that our squad is completely unbalanced and low on quality - to have ANY hope of staying up we need to accept this, and try to scrape the odd draw here and there until the transfer window opens.

Oh, and hope Dundee stick with McCann.

Always nice to see a shite outfit appear in the top flight, look at Hamilton and think they'll walk over them, boldly proclaiming an easy win on the match thread, before getting fucking bodied.

Glorious stuff.

Great Post.

It is indeed glorious.

St Mirren twitter saying there was an emergency situation, then two minutes later said it was a false alarm.

The emergency situation was me outside the turnstiles at 2:58 waiting for the Mrs to come and collect "the dug" so I could go into the game lol.

As for the game, even stevens at the start ,but when we went ahead,St.Mirren seemed to lose confidence and it should have ended up 4 or 5 nil.

Livingston seem to have a team of battlers unlike today's opponents and Big Kilgannon looked a better bet than Ferdinand.Scott Martin allowed Mikel Miller to play with freedom and the big Brustad up front looked a class act.

Big name next week as to go nine points ahead of Dundee would be very significant even this early in the season.

Fair play to Hamilton they dominated the game after a fairly even start. The unbalanced shambles of a squad left behind by Stubbs is not going to cut it at this level. I’m already fearing the Jan window will be too late to save us. Oran will need to do a complete rebuild with the squad and I reckon he’ll need at least two transfer windows to do it.

Long season ahead.

Jordan Kirkpatrick isn’t good enough for the Championship never mind Premier League. St Mirren were awful. Accies were ok but would have been punished by better teams for errors in midfield. Good to seem some confidence return. Clearly the back 4 of McGowan Kilgallon Want and McMann is the best Accies defence. The simple truth is as Accies have shown in recent years you only need to be better than two teams to stay up and currently we are better than Dundee & St Mirren. It’s a long season and many things will change but today gives us real hope of avoiding the much speculated relegation.
