I'm with him on this, sounds moronic.

Also, "my bad".

My bad is a stupid Americanism. Telling someone to f**k up has been on the go for a long time. Not even sure if I say it tbh, just dont see issue with it.

I see their point.

If someone is fucking up, it seems daft to tell them to f**k up.

Use puns and, worse, think said puns are witty and amusing.

In the country where you can be about 47 different types of (both good and bad) c**t, you cant use that as a reason why both arent valid

I disagree.

f**k up is always a negative thing, whereas a c**t can be good or bad depending on context, as demonstrated in the sentence:

"Bairnardo is a good c**t, but he needs to f**k up - if he keeps fucking up, everyone will think he's a wee c**t".

Use the term “smashed it” to describe the completion of some menial task and / or gymnasium routine.

My mate has recently taken up running and to be fair, he’s enjoying it and doing well but feigning interest I’ll ask how his latest run went and almost every time he’s “smashed it”. Didn’t realise how annoying it was until this.

Typing 'McCarthur' when referring to some called 'McArthur'.

Who is called 'McCarthur'? I can't think of single example. I've never once seen it used as a name.

Also folk who substitute 'Mac' for 'Mc' in common names. Some think that Alex Macleish is the Scotland manager for example, and that Macdonalds is a popular fast food chain.
