Not a bad year but it would have been better if the Daily Fail had reported John Cocks' demise. I also took Gabriele Grunewald off my list and omitted Andrew Fairlie - over 160 points pissed away! Funnily enough, I started doing my research last night, picked up a few likely candidates, I've traditionally done it on a sunday watching da foozbaal with a few tins but I was enthused by the passing of my captain. I'll need a minimum of 6 newbs and there's a couple I could probably drop to the quite hefty subs bench. Back to the grindstone on sunday for me, no rest for the wicked eh ?

Miguel Sanchez
Week 42 update A lesbian from a soap has carked it: https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2019/oct/16/leah-bracknell-emmerdale-actor-dies-aged-55 Leah Bracknell was something of a P&B Dead Pool oddity. While there's an inexplicably long and popular thread for Coronation Street on here, you wouldn't expect many P&B users to be large soap watchers. So it was with the 2017 Dead Pool that Bracknell was a rare pick, with a select few aware of her cancer diagnosis from the year before. This was Dead Pool gold. Someone young, someone chronically, terminally ill, someone from a relatively niche audience. A guaranteed high scorer. Of course, she ultimately held on for three years after being diagnosed, which meant every bugger picked her. Although it was only announced this week she actually died a month ago. She was 55 when she died, making her worth 70 Base Points. As with previous high scorer Fernando Ricksen, I'll list each player by how many points they get: 70 Base Points - @atfccfc, @alta-pete, @Savage Henry, @gkneil, @The DA, @Sloop John B, @Karpaty, @Sweaty Morph, @The Naitch, @Billy Jean King, @JamieStevenson, @qos_75, @Bishop Briggs, @The Master, @Once A Rover always a Rover, @Meden89, @gingette and @cdisaaccie 105 Vice-Captain - @JustOneCornetto, @peasy23, @Arabdownunder, @RadgerTheBadger, @Fuctifano, @DBA, @Mark Connolly, @lichtgilphead and @Arbroathlegend36-0 140 Captain - @Bert Raccoon, @sparky88, @Melanius Mullarkey, @psv_killie, @Gareth_Glasgow, @Indale Winton, @choirbairn, @weirdcal and @chomp my root As a result, the standings now look like this: 1. Karpaty Lviv
307 points is the best I’ve ever done and won’t probably beat that. For that reason a few others in the team should do the decent thing. My vice captain survived a suspected poison attack by one of Putin’s mob so may still be one yet. It’s not unusual for his opponents to be found permanently sleeping in the Moscow streets in the middle of the day.
Fuctifano
Don't think I've got enough solos and / or young people to bridge the gap to the top and that's my captain and VC both away. Settle for a solid mid-table title defence.
