Manager Meltdowns

Recommended Posts

Craig Levein's classic "we were never going to win that game today". Not due to playing no strikers, but due to Mike McCurry apparently giving Rangers everything

You could tell any new poster that the P&Bism "verge of tears" originated from that very interview and they'd believe it without question.

Also, if "head honcho going tonto" in the OP can include chairmen, then this needs an honourable mention:

Walter Smith ripping into a rattled Chick Young is always great for a laugh.

"Your questions to the chairman last week were fu*kin' s***e and aww, right, and this week's exactly the f***in' same. If we had a bad night last night then you're having a f***ing horrendous one the now"

I know it isnt scottish but fully recommend watching the big ron manager series on youtube, the absolute ignorant arrogance of barry fry, ron atkinson trying to make himself relevant, and a manager having a season long meltdown culminating in quiting in the dressing room before a big game that decides promotion , brilliant watch
