Something like £250m spent by Silva there, and they're relying on fucking dross like Iwobi and Walcott to create chances from out wide
accies1874
Everton were absolutely honking. It's the 17/18 season all over again.
Rab B Nesbit
If the Ev were a dog, I think it’s fair to say, they would be put down. -
pandarilla
They had three or four unbelievable chances though. There's no way they should've lost that game.
Scotty Tunbridge
Bad night for Merseyside’s good guys. Walcott is pish and Gomes was trrrible tonight.
David W
Safe to say they'll probably not have a chance to be top of the league again this season.
Bully Wee Villa
Thought we had a bit of luck there, but had none whatsoever against Bournemouth so I'm not complaining. Wesley looked a different player after his goal and Jota was impressive on the ball. Mings and Engels already look very solid, too. Fucking YAS!

Diamonds are Forever
I can't think of many clubs it would be more boring to support than Everton. At least, despite being garbage quality, Airdrie have an outside chance of promotion or relegation every season which makes games meaningful and therefore exciting. And most other teams are either regularly challenging at the top of leagues or regularly fighting off relegation, either way they are playing for something. Unless Everton get a billionaire owner they are never going to challenge at the top end and never going to get relegated. Even the chance of winning a domestic trophy gets smaller every year with the log jam of clubs at the top desperate for a trophy. They are one of those clubs that exist in a league just to give other clubs a game.

City of Liverpool v Skem is the only one that will get you to Anfield in time unless you leave the Charnock Richard game early?

accies1874
Really nice goal, although I can't tell if it was brilliant from Buendia or dreadful from Chelsea's midfield.
