Now she's only just gone and asked Boris to form a new government.

Time for Corbyn to call an instant vote of confidence in the Government. Think he only needs 3 Tory votes, at least that many are facing deselection anyway. Maybe wise to wait but it would be funny as f**k if he had to call off the movers to Downing St.

Based on what criteria? The electorate in Hackney seem to think differently. Give us a couple - no, make it three - examples of her being "shite at her job".

Some here to be going on with...

‘White people love playing divide and rule’ Which they do. See current government.
‘300,000 for more police officers’ Suffering - very obviously - due to poor control of her diabetes. The chancellor at the time had no idea of the cost of HS2. You may have missed that snippet.
Calling for the abolition of Mi5 First I've heard of this. Link?
Sending her kids to private school after criticising other people for the same. Absolutely agree this was hypocritical, but as someone who shops at Amazon, uses Facebook and searches with Google, I'm not going to cast the first stone. Relevance to her job?
Saying that white people were unfit to be nurses near hackney because they’d not seen black people before. Again, a new one on me. link please.
Criticising police for ramming moped robbers despite tactical contact being absolutely lawful and her suggesting that it wasnt.  Alleged robbers. The kind of knee-jerk policy which plays well in the Mail, but the first innocent to be injured, you can guarantee the copper responsible would be in the dock on his/her own - Dick and Javid would be nowhere to be seen.
The above is just a selection but they suggest to me that she is someone entirely out of her depth who is quick to stereotype and comment without any insight, which given her comments about police and her role as shadow home secretary are alarming.

Happy to carry on discussing.

Might that change when Boris gets his super fast internet service up and running?

If Boris had had decent net access, he could have carried on just being a w****r, not fed the EUPhobia of Little England for years, and we might not be quite as deep in the shite as we now are. And it may well be about to get deeper.

I just saw the headline,

Johnson: "We're going to solve this social care crisis once and for all"

Is anyone else worried that extermination camps could soon be appearing ????

Happy to carry on discussing.

Ive not been able to copy and paste your reply, so stay with me;
1. Tories enjoy a bit of divide and rule, the position that all white people do is madness.
2. If Diane Abbot cannot look after herself properly is she fit to be home secretary. I didnt miss that snippet, I could write all day about why tories shouldnt get into office, but this post is about Diane Abbot so lets not engage in whataboutery.
3. She backed an early day motion to abolish Mi5 and Met SB in 1989. Someone who doesnt see the value in an intelligence service shouldnt be home secretary. Her co-conspirator in this was Dennis Skinner, an even bigger arsehole than Abbot.
4. Well no, but given the principles of the Labour party based on fairness and quality education for all its a bit of a twos up for the potential home sec to think normal schooling is beneath her children. I disagree with private schools in entirety unless fees are doubled and the extra goes towards raising state education to a similar standard. Any labour politician sending kids to a private school has a cheek to be a member of the labour party. Relevance to her job is that its entirely relevant to her job as one of the senior politicians in this country.
5.

Take from her reply what you will.

6. ‘Alleged’ but still failing to stop and driving in a dangerous manner which is what tactical contact is used for. Ie the traffic cop deems it necessary to end a pursuit through tactical contact because the driver/riders actions are so reckless they are endangering the lives of themselves and other road users/pedestrians. So thats secondary to being a robbery suspect the dangerous driving is just as serious/potentially deadly. There are reasons pursuit trained officers are specially trained to engage in tactical contact and thats to mitigate the potential for getting it wrong and be able to justify their actions, yes in some cases they may see court but if they acted lawfully they will be found not guilty and indeed if they havent then they will be rightfully punished. Proper police accountability is a great thing, but Diane Abbot firing off on twitter about something she should know all about but doesnt seem to understand even slightly is amateur, especially for someone who could you know be in charge of the police.

Penny Mourdant out as defence minister

Surprised by that, proper Brexiteer too. Looks like Gavin Williamson is getting his job back after being sacked months ago for leaking, and threatening to simultaneously take on China and Russia with his new aircraft carrier and no planes or escorts. Johnson probably promised each cabinet position 3 times over.
