Guys n Girls..

Looking for some Recommendations please for wifes 40th coming up in next few months..

From my Scotland trips around 2000 really enjoyed Dusseldorf. Brussels and Prague from 16 odd trips though that was with the lads on the lash...

Easyjet fly to Belgium from Gla/Edi but need to stay for 4 nights and 6yr old wean will be having none o that...

Something reasonable within 2hr flight from Gla or Edinburgh would be ideal

Thanks in advance

If you want a very good chance of good weather in Autumn/early Winter, like city breaks and are prepared to risk 3 hours instead of 2, I'd recommend Seville with Ryanair from Edinburgh. Throw in a quick train trip to Cadiz where your kid might get to see Africa.

Weekend in Monaco.Easyjet fly direct from Edinburgh and outwith cannes film festival and the Grand Prix its actually quite cheap unless you venture into Monte Carlo which is a casino and a hotel.
You can pick up a really good 4/5 star hotel for under £100 a night around the marina(beside the yacht club).Loads of bars etc and it has a pretty lively nightlife

I’m not long back from my first ever visit to Tallinn, and it was superb. Easy to fly to, their airport is a ten minute drive from town, the Old Town is great, the bars and restaurants were great.... the big maritime museum and the old Soviet era prison were worth a visit, the city bus tour is excellent too. Had a thoroughly enjoyable visit to a city both old and modern at the same time. Prices were decent too.

Flew from Edinburgh with Ryanair (means to an end, but it was OK). Flight was about 2 hours 40 min.

Buy her a nice pair of trainers. I believe @Dindeleux can help with this.

You can just tell that SSB is the kind of guy who shares the Facebook posts claiming to be from Thomas Cook with the “Mrs Smith and her family can’t make their 3 star all inclusive trip to Baghdad, please comment and share for a chance to get this amazing holiday for free.”
