Ron Aldo Posted September 1, 2019 Share Posted September 1, 2019 A great result but I didn't think we looked comfortable until it went 2-0 and Hibs basically chucked it.I don't mean to go all Well Fans II but, despite the result, there were a few things that bugged me. James Scott was far too greedy at times and despite being about a foot taller than Lewis Stevenson he didn't win too much in the air. Alan Campbell is a great player and had a good game overall but he got himself into a few good attacking positions but just seems unwilling to shoot. Long will be a good player for us but his finishing was rotten. I also thought that Carroll struggled at times against Horgan. I'm probably being overly critical but that's how I viewed things at the time. On the flip side I thought Hartley was outstanding and hopefully the mad b*****d manages to kick on and get back to previous levels. Grimshaw was also excellent again and just never stops running. A lot of our players just need a couple of things sorted to their game to be quite decent players. As mentioned before, Alan Campbell is a great player but he doesn't have that in his game.
