glensmad
Here is our schedule for the next ten matches :- 7/9/19 - away v Troon (league) 14/9/19 - away v Clydebank (league) 28/9/19 - away v Ardeer Thistle (Scottish Junior Cup) 5/10/19 - away v Irvine Meadow (league) 12/10/19 - away v Benburb (league) 19/10/19 - away v Cumnock Juniors (league) 26/10/19 - home v Hurlford United (league) (will be postponed if either team reach the Scottish Junior Cup 3rd Round) 2/11/19 - away v Pollok (league) 9/11/19 - away v Neilston Juniors (West of Scotland Cup) 16/11/19 - away v Kilbirnie Ladeside (league) That's 9 away games, and only one at home. And that one home match may need to be postponed if either Glencairn or Hurlford win our respective Scottish Junior Cup 2nd Round ties. And if we get through and are drawn away from home in the 3rd round, that'll make it 10 away games and none at home. Two of the nine away ties are cup matches, and that's just the luck of the draw putting us away from home. We were scheduled to play Auchinleck Talbot at home on the 21st of September, but their continuing participation in the senior Scottish Cup means that game has now had to be postponed. Take those factors out of the equation, and we were still originally scheduled with 2 home league games and 7 away league games over a 9-game league match period. Unusual ? Guest Mr Happy
No home games = no income [emoji52] away games = expenses, absolutely shocking your club has been put in this position. It’s an expensive time ahead for you. No club deserves to be treated like this. [emoji35]

Ginaro
What was the original fixture schedule before the cup games/rescheduling? Wonder if there's another club with a similar run of home games who'll have to deal with this later in the season.

There was a free Saturday for the West of Scotland Cup ties to be slotted in.

If the 5th, 12th and 19th October were all originally scheduled as away games then that's pretty bad, no club should have three in a row home or away.
Juniorfootball123
Stop moaning you get half the gate at Ardeer do you not?! Troon, Benburb, Pollok, Cumnock and Clydebank all highly likely to be on if you were meant to be playing them Dec-Feb and therefore you reversed the fixture. Would mean less cancellations and less fixture congestion.
kilsythblue
Are you serious ? Half gate at Ardeer . That wont even cover half the cost of the bus !! . We have the opposite at kilsyth, with 10 of our next 15 league fixtures at home . We will have only 2 scheduled home league fixtures after the 28th of December. Just begs the question why ? Stop moaning you get half the gate at Ardeer do you not?! clash city rocker
Kennie needs to take another look see if he can help out a bit here far too many away matches not enough income. Kilbirnie have 3 aways on the spin in October which am no too happy about but this is not unnecessary. The1andonly
This is a financial disaster no club out with Auchinleck or Pollok can get through these fixtures this has to be addressed club has to make an official complaint in my opinion

glensmad
Kennie has acted quickly and shown great flexibility, and we thank him for this. Our matches against Irvine Meadow (5th October) and Pollok (2nd November) are now scheduled to be played at The Celsius Stadium.

That means between 21st September and 21st December, Pollok's only guaranteed home game is vs Ashfield in the WoSC (shared gate takings)! That's unless we get knocked out of the Scottish Junior Cup or get home draws (with more shared gate takings!) This sort of thing is reminiscent of the former regime, should and could have been avoided - not just for Lok and Glens but for all clubs.

Statto 1967
Kilbirnie are Away 3 in a row OCTOBER 5th :- Largs OCTOBER 12th :- Rob Roy OCTOBER 19th :- Rossvale OCTOBER 26th :- Free Week But so Have Troon and they have already played them at HOME so would be AWAY 4 League Games in a row!!! Is Scottish Cup weekend so could be AWAY anyway but if both them and Troon were out would have expected them to be playing each other Or fixture to have been cast
