What's wrong with calling him "the boy"? I cant remember the boys name.
Think though its plain to see Lamie does nothing wrong here.....

Only ones saying it was a red card are Slippy G and fat Sally. Even Gary McAllister said it wasn't deliberate and wasn't a red card.

Maybe Gerrard can retract his statement re Lamie elbowing the boy in the face.

While that photo shows Aribo heading the back of Lamie’s head (and we know head-to-head can lead to cuts) it doesn’t mean he didn’t catch him with the elbow. That said, I’ve yet to see any image of him connecting with the elbow. Gerrard said he saw it 8 times so incriminating footage must be kicking about somewhere? Only BT and photographer images? From the BT footage I don’t recall Rangers players complaining after the duel. Again, that obviously doesn’t mean there wasn’t contact but it suggests they didn’t think it was a shocker of a challenge, like the ref.

Slippy was quite happy about it till he heard Holt saying they got away with one with Dykes being fouled by Helander, then he started the deflecting tactic with all this nonsense about Lamie leading with an elbow. Mention the Sevco fans letting off Flares and the like and the usual response is to talk about what Celtic fans did at some other game, it's pretty standard stuff from them.

Ah well at least he can be happy that his team are deservedly into the next round. Holt can't be that's for sure.

You'd think so, but he's more concerned about Holt saying his player was lucky to not get a red card. Just wait till he hears Sutton said the same about Jack, it'll send him right over the edge.

What does Sutton have to do with this? Nothing at all. I don't think footballing staff pay attention to that.

Same as Holt has to do with anything, both mentioned incidents where Sevco players should've been sent off, and Slippy got all upset about it and started talking nonsense about Lamie.

You think Jack should have been off for that? Really?

Lamie one is debatable. Could plausibly be a red due to being reckless as intent isn't required by the laws of the game.

Watching the highlights it's clear that Dykes should have been off before the Helander incident even happened as that tackle on Goldson he was booked for is a straight red all day. Not to mention his bookable high foot earlier too.

The Jack kick was pathetic. If he’s off for that then the game has gone soft. Same with Dykes on Goldson - behave!

Kinda funny though: Jack intentionally kicks a player but no damage whereas Lamie unintentionally, supposedly catches (with his elbow) Aribo who is injured after.

He connects with Goldson on the shin, a raised shin so Dykes' foot is higher than that, with studs up at pace. Definitely a red card if we are trying to be objective about this despite how hard that can be.

We're too hard for rangers and they dont like it,they'd prefer if everyone just rolls over for them.
This is genuinely their problem, ever since we improved and started giving them problems they fucking despise us, their rabid *** fanbase is over everything when we lose, they do it with Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs, Dundee United too, see the link? Teams that don't roll over and get their bellies tickled by them, never have a problem with the likes of accies, at Johnstone, st mirren etc. Welcome to the club, you'll love it.

Losing aside it was a quite entertaining game particularly since we were just getting over playing the big team on Saturday last.

Was a bit surprised to see this though after two of their own supporters were injured:

“The Union Bears support the safe use of pyrotechnics inside and outside football stadiums.

“Whilst this is our stance, we would like to discourage supporters from using firecrackers inside the stands. These firecrackers are endangering our supporters when set off in crowded areas.”

Surely the fact that two supporters were injured means that flares are not entirely safe either?

Morelos was given red cards and retrospective bans for the same thing last season, might be soft but it's still a red card for kicking out at a player. Silly petulance gets what it deserves.

The whole Lamie thing is to deflect attention away from what Holt said about Helander, and it has worked, read an article in the Herald with a headline asking if Livi were the dirtiest team in the Premiership. Turns out we've the 3rd lowest yellow card count from last season and Morelos alone has more red cards than our whole team. Maybe they should be asking if The Rangers are the dirtiest team in the Premiership, they get away with a lot and still have a higher card count than Livi.

Aye and that's when they start on about the plastic pitches too, funny how there was no media shite about our pitch after Sevco won on Wed night, just this Lamie pish because Gerrard is all pissy about Helander being called out for his foul on Dykes.
