Ayr United’s Next Permanent Manager

Recommended Posts

He is definitely not the cheap option , just check out his experience on Wikipedia, taking a step back to further his career coming from a fantastic job at a premiership club  , it’s like getting 3 people in one with what he is capable of contributing to the club , a great asset
He's got his uefa a license and everything, looking at his past he certainly has experience.

Guys like that certainly don’t come cheap , bound to be on a very good salary running a premiership academy

Yep checked him out too, seems to be one of the new very modern coaches with all the qualifications, listened to a video of when he mark and lee millar at Falkirk were looking after things before Paul Hartley arrived, so big maybe there for all three of them to get back together. Possibly in January. Lee Millar up front what a prospect.

Dont know how our own man Davy White of the Academy will think to this somebody promoted  in to the club from his same level watch this space.

Davie will work well with him , guy is much more experienced than him , it’s a win win situation, Davie will get them ready for Michael to take to next stage

Reading this weeks Ayr Advertiser anencephaly wondering where the hell they get their information. It said Eddie Annand, James Grady and Brian McClair were in the frame. All very left field, especially McClair!

Hahaha no way, I posted Annand and Grady on SRE 😌

In fact the reporter gave me a "says who ?!" In the replies.

Got a screeny so I can laugh?

Would have thought we need some previous league experience in the backroom team. The chairman lives abroad meaning the Ayr job probably involves a bit more than most managers. With Kerr still playing we are left with an assistant manager learning his trade to run the show

We have a General Manager and hands on board members running the club day to day , McCall did more than he needed to , some very experienced players on the squad that can help with training , due to Marks injury don’t think he will have boots on next couple of games , that will give time for him and assistant to settle in

Aye for me we definitely need an experienced older head who has had previous experience of managing to give him help. Naturally he will make mistakes and need someone  with experience to help him through it.

He’s got lots of people available to talk to , does not need to employ them , very friendly with Peter Houston , Derek McInnis to name a couple , don’t think he would be too shy to give them a call

Is Stewart definitely away then ?

Did Kerr not say that he was going to ask him to stay AFTER the AP had run with the story that he was off ???

Yes definitely away , turned down for  managers job and decided to leave , was not manager material but very good coach ,
