Hank Scorpio
I really think Vaughan is the difference between winning the league and not. Everything crossed it's not as bad as it seems but if he's done the same cruciate for the third time before the age of 25 it could be retirement time.
ewan_fife
Never nice to see a player with such bad luck with injuries, wish him a speedy recovery

We don't have a like-for-like replacement, let alone one with anything like the same level of ability. His goals (and possibly assists) per minute over the last few years must be up there with anyone's.But above all, it's an absolute sin for the lad, if it is indeed the serious recurrence that it would appear to be. Just utterly devastating.
baillieinleeds
If it’s another cruciate injury, that’s his career over. A class class player.
Scary Bear
If he’s injured long-term again that’s a fucking disaster.
RaithTheRover
Honestly, if it’s his cruciate again theirs not much to do other than retire. I fucking hate that I’ve said that, heartbreaking. Hope to f**k it’s not.
Hank Scorpio
Nine months of rehab - twice - to do it again after three games back. I fucking hate football. Edited September 28, 2019 by Hank Scorpio

So, that's just Hendry and BAIRD left to score...... (posted this just as the Vaughan injury report came through. Absolutely gutted for the guy. Let's hope it's not as bad as reported. Would have been away from us a long time ago but for the acl's. Club legend)
baillieinleeds
Just hope Baird can inject some kind of hope. So dejected losing Lewis again
kev23
I'm not there but heart has absolute sunk. Poor guy just cannot catch a break. Fingers crossed it's not as bad as first seemed but I have zero confidence in that. Heartbreaking for him.
RaithTheRover
What a waste of talent. The best player I’ve watched for years, and this could be his career done. Then again, hopefully I look back at this comment and pish myself laughing when he scores a hat-trick against Falkirk.
grumswall
Was it a tackle or was it like last time?

Raith Against The Machine
Was it a tackle or was it like last time? I'm not at the game, but someone on Twitter saying Vaughan was just turning with the ball. No contact.
grumswall
I'm not at the game, but someone on Twitter saying Vaughan was just turning with the ball. No contact. So similar to last time then. Probably the most talented player we've seen come through in a decade at least but with the most horrendous luck. Absolutely gutted for the boy.
