wastecoatwilly
For me it's important Clarke can change formations and ask players to play in different positions over the space of 3 days. The adaptability needed to go and play a team like Russia and then change to play a team like San Marino. Changing the mindset of players from one game to the next is Clarke's main attribute. Clarke at Killie made sure each individual player played to their strengths I have no doubt he can do the same with Scotland.
Gordopolis
Watching the 'Anelka: Misunderstood' documentary on Netflix.Totally forgot about his quenelle gesture scandal and that it was aimed at Steve Clarke during SC's tenure at West Brom.To be fair to Clarke, Anelka got his skants in a twist because he was subbed him at 70 mins with the score at 0-0. Hardly the act of a madman.Anyway, Abe Simpson ramble over.

Anelka misunderstood after watching that now realise he is even more of a bellend than first thought

I'm really hoping Clarke will see sense.

He has to get things right this timeYes agree. We got away with it last time because we went and got the 3 points in Czech (albeit Czech reserves), ie to win group we need to win home games and draw away so yes wrong way round but we dodged a bullet. However big one is Israel in play off. He should have plenty of opportunity to learn from his mistakes and must win
Guest DAVIDB69
Even little things like wanting games brought forward to next Friday yet Europa league games the day before Surely he must have known that the Europa was the day before . Real danger he could put us out of three tournaments by March
