Aberdeen v Celtic

Recommended Posts

CELTIC fans could be heard aiming sectarian chants towards Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes at Pittodrie.

The travelling support sang the 'Cheer up' song at the Dons gaffer during their Premiership clash

Don’t think it worked, he still looked grumpy as f**k for the rest of the game.

They were ok with you throwing bananas at Mark Walters years ago too.

Not really an argument, thankfully racism is a criminal offence now. Why wouldn’t they be ok with away fans getting an entire stand, like they do at hearts, hibs, Motherwell, st mirren, st Johnstone, Kilmarnock etc etc?

It would be a nightmare for policing.

The entrance to the south stand and merkland stand are literally right next to each other with only one real route to the ground coming from the city centre. The police simply wouldn’t entertain it.

Unlike clubs like Kilmarnock, Aberdeen off the park continue not to bend over to appease the demands of the OF fans.

Which is nice.
Wrong club to pick on, we have taken a full stand off the mutants recently.

"You should give us that stand" with no real thought on the logistics of getting there.

Let's be honest if the police have a problem with it we should just give them the Merkland and the south in its entirety, it's only fair.

Maybe half the RDS as well if we’ll all be good and sit quietly in the main stand.

The resultant full stands will be great for the game and will mean that the tv companies will offer us millions upon millions for the much improved product.🙄

It is lovely how raging their sense of entitlement gets them as soon as they see a few empty seats in a stadium.

It’s a bizarre mentality that I don’t think exists anywhere else.

Wont be an issue anyway I would assume in not too distant future when Aberdeen move out to the shire and in to a stadium more soulless than Aberdeen itself. Looking forward to having at least one full stand once home fans get sick of it sharpish.

Spoiler

Im really not. I honestly cant believe Aberdeen fans have given Milne a free pass  and allowed to let Pittodrie fall in to such disrepair over the years and now a stadium miles away from the town is passed off as the only solution.

We put ourselves in to a stupid amount of debt funding a new stand and trying to keep up with a club who had an open chequebook for the last 20 years of it's existence. Never recovered from that on top of spending the money we did have on shite players and sacking managers.
