Nutz_the_Squirrel
Had an Aldi mince pie last night. Lifted it up and the lid fell off. WHERE WAS THAT WARNING IN YOUR STUPID REVIEWS?
tree house tam
I was given a nice hot Tesco puff pastry mince pie with a kind of lattice shape on top last night, very very good imo. Will see if I can pick up a packet to make sure it wasn't just a one off.
Cosmic Joe
Used to enjoy the Tesco value mince pies as I'm not overly keen on the deep fill ones (gtf Kenneth). Not seen them for years sadly

mathematics
MINCE PIE WATCH 2019 - Greggs Mince Pies Well filled but incredibly shallow, dusting of white on top. Enough about me, this pie scores 5/10.

MP_MFC
I’m sure I saw mince pie flavoured cookies the other day....Subway have them, they're actually not too bad at all, a bit too much peel in them for me but pretty decent as part of yer meal deal.
tree house tam
Picked up a 4 pack of the Tesco latticed puff pastry efforts, perfect ratio of mince to pie, crispy puff pastry and decent sugar glaze on top, would recommend and will be buying again.

Its a rancid concoction of things that used to be fruit. This is why it only comes out at Christmas, so that like sprouts, people can pretend to like it in small doses once a year. -

Just a good pie, no frills. 2019 Pie Score: 8.5/10 I’ve had two of these today. I think they are a good example of a decent mince pie. I also had a Tesco one earlier in the week, which didn’t compare to the Aldi one but which was acceptable.

NJ2
I need to buy mince pies in the next fortnight, so far it’s looking like Aldi classics as Waitrose is for tories.

mathematics
MINCE PIE WATCH 2019: Heston’s Large Mince Pies with a Lemon Twist As a previous winner of MPW (2017, I believe) I was looking forward to this year’s weird Heston offering. Turns out, they’re the same as last year, and the year before that, just with a soggy bottom. 2019 Pie Score: 9/10.
