greenockraver
Scott Brown recently opened the door to a potential return to the national team CM is a position where we have players competing for position. For celtic, brown plays as cdm , usually a little deeper than mcgregor. At times he drops back and protects the defence to the point where he essentially becomes the 3rd in a back 3 . Over the years the denfensive aspects of browns game has become more and more a part of his game . As we have quite a critical issue at CB at the moment, for these 2 one off games, could he be an option at cb.?. would his influence perhaps even help to improve another inexperienced player's performance (like declan gallagher).? Not a centre half. Imagine Clarke did that and we didn't get results? Get your coat mate

Rabinho
Yip it’s a goer for me, while we’re at it I feel it’s time gave McBurnie the opportunity to solve our problem at right back.

Melanius Mullarkey
This thread should be printed on the side of bus shelters and put into pamphlet form for circulation round schools as a reminder of the dangers of drinking.

gannonball
I can remember Rodgers murmuring about brown becoming a centre back but given we ended up with one centre back at times under him and he still wasn’t used their Im guessing its something he didn't really consider. Wouldn’t be wanting to try something like this at international level.
Cptn Hooch
Scott Brown shouldn't be anywhere near the national side. He retired when the team needed a leader and now wants to come back when we have a real chance of qualifying for something....get him in the sea
