The lack of an epidemic so far in countries like India, Vietnam, the Phillipines, Thailand and Indonesia is a good sign it will behave like other coronaviruses in that regard. Home Bargains were down to about three left and Tesco and Holland and Barrett are totally out of hand sanitizer. Also heard yesterday that the Drumossie Hotel have had one of their tours full of Chinese tourists cancelled. That's not far off a typical summer in Scotland. I admit that nightime temperatures would be better than Italy now, but as a general point I don't think it's nonsense. And as SlipperyP has pointed out, your stats are wrong. I think you're comparing the average temperature in Venice with the average daytime temperature in Inverness.
