mizfit
We better be at under 90 in hospital on Monday.
Ginaro
First time actually listening to her, wish I'd kept it on mute. Devi says the way to avoid lockdowns is to keep your case numbers low enough. Well sure, but in the previous sentence you were just talking about full hospitals and ICUs forcing lockdowns. If you have a vaccine which stops most cases becoming hospitalisations/going into ICU then you can have higher cases numbers without a lockdown...

Are you seriously suggesting post-viral syndrome isn't a physical thing? If you are, you clearly don't know what you are talking about. Have I misunderstood you? Of course not, i've been saying "Long Covid" is just Post-Viral Fatigue Syndrome for about a year.

Honestly, how do people get into that sort of state where they can't even think straight? You just need to look at the headlines in the press , take them to heart and voila instant depression

I'm 29 going on 30 in a month and quite physically fit I'd say, no underlying health issues but work in Health Care although not directly front line sometimes go into hospital wards and care homes. Do some sort of exercise most nights. When I arrived they gave me the choice of waiting for an alternative vaccine given the side effects of the astra zeneca and my age/physical health. I decided just to take the plunge and get it. Since about 2pm I've felt like I'm riddled with the flu, shakes, shivers, bit of a headache, worst I've felt in years although I don't generally get too unwell, though I'm not letting it bother me too much. Paracetamol has been managing the worst of it just about. We'll see what the next few days brings. I still plan to go to work in the morning unless I'm dying more or less. Rest, lucozade and paracetamol will do the job I reckon. Cool story bro. Let's hope so...

Unfortunately think it’s down to Scotland’s current political climate Being as polarised as it is now that you get folk like this . Even if someone is a total idiot they will have people defending them to the hilt as they are on “their side” . Some just don’t have it in them to be any form of critical to anyone on their side or whatever even when it is well deserved. TheScarf
I pay zero attention to any of the 'breaking news' variant stuff you see online now. It's all utter shite made up by journalists terrified of this being over soon and them having to report on actual news. As long as the hospital numbers keep falling, that's good enough for me.

It's just very strange behaviour to white knight a scientific adviser, likely one you had never heard of 14 months ago, to the point you flat out deny things they have actually said to give the impression they are flawless. What a world
