I was thinking the same but given how many of her supporters seem to be in favour of ongoing "protections" will she really see removing them as good news? I still get the impression that it's a deliberate policy to maintain their support at a level to keep them in power but not enough that they have to go for indyref2. It is simply pandering to the likes of the NHS Grampian woman (who complains constantly about workloads, yet who is never off the news) who wants them in place as a visible reminder that we’re still in a pandemic. Ignoring the fact that they're not doing any fucking good because they've been told consistently that they are effective. She can't back down. And she'll probably easily bat away DRoss protests about her double standards by saying that the tests in lieu of mask wearing meant she wasn't being a two faced c**t.
