CallumPar
Disappointing lineup. How Crawford can justify constantly playing Devine ahead of Lewis Martin is genuinely baffling. Martin has been one of our players of the season, got ill one week and gets punted. Defence conceded 17 goals in 8 games and he won’t change the back 4, ridiculous! Not sure what Turner has to do, to get dropped as well. Been very poor 90% of the time, but again Crawford seems to prefer him to better players in Beadling and Thomson. Him and Paton as a partnership is overrun almost every week.
parsforlife
This back 4(5) has only played together the last 2 games, conceding 2 from open play. Both as a result from being exposed by the midfield.
coppola
Hopefully a better balance in midfield with just one of Powers/Butcher in there. I thought Pawlett started quite brightly in a centre mid role last week as well so I have at least some hope of a performance from him.

Martin to left back Devine swapped for murray and Beadling or Thomson for Turner. Turner worst midfielder every week.
Stellaboz
Turner with a superb assist there. Absolutely running it.
Salvo Montalbano
Fair play it was a cracking ball by Turner and a good header by Nisbet, a harder chance than he missed on Tuesday night. He's doing some shift defensively too, kind of proving Paton's point from the Courieri guess. Still worry United will fluke a goal out of nothing and a bit concerned we haven't managed to get a second despite a few good moves.

CallumPar
Fair play to Turner, thought he was brilliant today. Entire team was and we fully deserved the win. Boy Appere for United seemed more interested in constantly diving, than actually doing anything useful. Our CB pairing also dealt brilliantly with Shankland.Fully deserved that and enjoyed seeing Neilson and the United players losing the head as the game went on.
Stellaboz
Deserved win. Everyone was solid AF today. Dom Thomas MOTM, that guy has such quick feet he's a level above this. Hopefully none of the three lads going off injured are serious and it's precautionary.
D.A.F.C
Turner did well today tbf. Hope he can keep that up. I get frustrated because hes good but lacks physicality. Maybe I should slag off everyone next week.[emoji38]

Salvo Montalbano
Hard to pick a man of the match but for all the right reasons for a change. Thought the spine of the team were superb - Devine and Ashcroft were excellent in the last ten minutes when United tried to throw everything at us, Paton did everything an experienced old warhorse is meant to do and kept the ball well too, Turner was a lot better and played some nice passes out wide and over the top as well as grabbing an assist, the front two linked well and troubled the United back four the whole match and worked extremely hard (and kudos to Afolabi who was clearly done by the end but kept going after we had to make three enforced substitutions to the extent that he was brought down at the edge of the box where the United guy would have walked had the referee seen it). The wide players were good too, Ross did well considering his lack of experience and Dom Thomas continues to look good. Killie must have some squad if Kiltie and Thomas are deemed surplus to requirements. I can see why the sponsors gave Dom the MotM award.Overall, a good win and at long last we manage to beat United. They may well win the league by a long way but I don't see much of improvement from last season based on the games they've played against us. Shankland needs a player alongside him that isn't a midfielder pressed into service and he isn't going to score a lot of goals in a team that aren't creating buckets of chances. The back four looked iffy and they were susceptible to the counter attack. A lot of work for Neilson to do for next season.

Poet of the Macabre
Absolute stroll in the park. Thomas ran the show and Nesbit showed how much better he is than Shankland. Easy peasy.
Shadow Play
If you use the Tannadice formula to calculate the value of strikers Nisbet is now worth at least £5 million after today’s performance.
