SUPERSOUTH
When will all the confirmed dates and times be announced for the 3rd round?

Tomorrow, according to the BBC. We already know which two ties Premier have picked, and I reckon the BBC will go for Ross County v Inverness and either Dumbarton v Aberdeen or Queen of the South v Hibs.

At such an early stage it would've made perfect sense to bin this year Imagine thinking this, especially after Brora's win tonight. I really hope they don't pick our game. Fucking hate it when we're on TV.
craigkillie
I'm slightly confused about the substitution rules in this season's competition. It was my understanding that we'd reverted back to the "normal" three subs (plus an extra one in ET). That seems to have been the case in every other tie, but Thistle v Cowdenbeath had 4 subs for the home team and 5 for the away side.Has the ref just fucked it, or am I missing something?

The opposition will be permitted to make another change at the time a concussion substitution is made." https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/news/202021-scottish-cup-to-resume-in-march/?rid=2107

I understand and appreciate an extra sub for concussion but how often does a player get concussed? I rarely see it, surely it's around 1 in every 5 games not 3 a game?

If say Thistle had 1, it still gives Cowdenbeath an extra sub or vice versa. You obviously don't have to use the extra sub.
vikingTON
Chuck Partick out of the tournament first and ask questions later IMO.

Cowdenbeath’s final substitution was for a head knock, so I’m assuming that was a concussion sub. I hadn’t noticed that they’d already used 4 at that point though.

The Moonster
What's the payment for being on the BBC? A bit shite that we finally have the opportunity to sell more game tickets than we have seats at the stadium and the fucking BBC picks up the game.

realmadrid
There are more league 1 teams in the last 32 than Championship this season. I guess that won't have happened before?

If Premier Sports don't take advantage of showing a match in the Sunday night slot by ripping off Carrie Underwood's great NBC SNF song, then they should be stripped of the broadcasting contract immediately.
The Master
Interesting the BBC have 3 games. They didn’t normally show replays so I can’t imagine it’s compensation for that. Maybe to do with the delay to the competition?
