Nobody seriously thinks there any chance of a points deduction for arrnaging bookings, do they?

If so, I know of at least one current Hibs' player who must be shitting himself, and I doubt he's alone in that.

Has he been caught cheating also ?

They did the same with Robinson when he was up for battering his Mrs...going as far to not name him but call him "the Motherwell manager"

It does at least answer the question 'what would Doug Imrie look like if he was a sprite in a 90s computer game?'

The answer, of course, being 'still a c**t'.

Is cheating not when you gain an advantage through some sort of foul play ?
Apart from money , what advantage did Imrie gain ?

You have proof of numerous Hibs players cheating?

Please do continue, @lennyzer0

He is probably talking about the comedy thread on the brains trust that is Jambos Kickback.

The premise of the thread was that Marc McNulty got himself deliberately booked stamping on Clare.

Slight problem with that, of course is that McNulty didnt actually receive a booking (despite ultimately getting a retro red)

This all happened last season, so no.

He took illegal action that could potentially have influenced the outcome of the game. Whether he gained an advantage is immaterial.

How the f**k can it be “match fixing” when he was betting on yellow cards during the game ?
Stupid ...yes

Match fixing ...no

He broke the rules so that he could personally gain from it, his actions also had an influence on the game.

Bookings add up and can lead to suspension meaning players might not be available for certain games.

Yeah. It's manipulation of in-play markets, and it's criminal and should be punished, but no match has been fixed here.

As Coventry Saint says, this is fraud. The player and others involved in the scheme could be sent to prison but unless Alan Maitland has gone full-on Bernard Tapie, I can't see the club being penalised.

In this era of big data, getting involved in a plot like this is ultra risky. Have a read at this article from a few years back - https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/inside-secret-fight-against-match-fixing-football
