roman_bairn
For all seater stadiums, for once, there is possibly an advantage there in that it's easier to police social distancing. Something like Starks Park, you could make it like one in every 4 seats is available. Not like we ever get more than a quarter of our capacity outside of derby games anyway. It'd be shite for atmosphere and would constrain crowds to a lower limit, but if combined with some form of pass limited streaking up to a given number of users and we could at least make a go of it...Great idea, except when it comes to everyone leaving the stadium at the same time at the end, or queuing for a half time pie......

True. Logistically a bit of a c**t, presumably like a supermarket you can control the queuing. I dunno, pie in the sky probably. My hope is still for a coherent trace-test-isolate cycle that means we can get back to enough degree of normality to get the football on properly.

I wouldn't like to try and control a crowd leaving a stadium after a game with the 2m rule in place. Genuinely can't see how we can have crowds at games for the foreseeable future in any type of stadium.

Again, it comes down to how well they can emulate what is being done in places like S.Korea and Germany. No reason why normal life couldn't be resumed under those conditions. If we have to adhere to severe forms of social distancing until a vaccine turns up, then there probably wont be much left of Scottish football to come back to.

Don't think that would work because 4 seats is less than 6ft and you'd still have folk sitting near you in front and behind.

That's not expected for at least 12 months and until then this will impact on attendance at sporting events. Usually the whole process takes a lot longer (as in years) but they reckon they have a working anti-virus that is the real deal. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52329659

Most great leaders are imperfect. But He got the economy booming The stock market was at all time highs and it will return. He has reduced illegal immigration He greatly increased employment amongst the blacks and Hispanics. He got the US out of many foreign conflicts. He showed solidarity towards Israel which is one of the few progressive Middle East states. He has reduced pc nonsense He recognises the hopelessness of the EU which is a political union without fiscal or monetary union. Impossible to work. Let’s see... Typical combination of whataboutism and fantasy. False. The economy was booming already The market was still returning less than under other Presidents. Really, has he? Nope, he’s destroyed the immigration system and courts, though. He has? No, the economy had because it was hiring anybody because the taxes were reduced on businesses DESPITE not being necessary and causing the deficit to skyrocket....but Republican’s don’t care when they are in power. This is kind of the “but I have a black friend” argument. Name a conflict Trump got us out of...we’re in more now than before. Calling Israel a progressive state is akin to calling UKIP a group of mild mannered British fans. PC nonsense, eh? Like treating female reporters like human beings rather than inferior beings? Recognized the hopelessness of the EU...exactly how? Because of his bleating statements? His objections to its standards that impeded some of his projects? The fact they didn’t cow down to him and kiss his ass? Dude, you seriously need help. It’s gonna be a tough decade as the corruption, veniality and self-interest comes to light after the orange buffoon leaves office. The trail of paperwork, reports and memos is even now making clear his lies, and will only snowball.
