League Reconstruction 20/21 season

Budge now saying that the SPFL Board May step in if the lower league clubs snooker this.  If that happens then surely supporters of all clubs need to support the lower league clubs?

This reminds me of when Rangers were voted into the 3rd Division and then put a statement on their website saying something like "we now await the SPL voting to create a new SPL2" before swiftly deleting it.

If the board (which includes three lower league representatives) haven't stepped in before now, they're not suddenly going to do it this time.

The longer Hearts continue their desperate attempts to weasel their way out of relegation the less likely they are to get the support they want.  You can already see how teams like Cowdenbeath are calling Budge out on her pitiful efforts to try to push reconstruction again

Premiership to Hearts: BYYEEEEEEEE!!

After latching onto Ranger's fantasy dossier of weak pish claiming that the SPFL board were the Svengali puppetmasters of Scottish fitba', she now wants to use the SPFL board to overrule the club votes, using some ad-hoc emergency powers. Relegation is far too good for these whining chancers. Reconstruct Hearts out of the League and doon to the Juniors!

Someone needs to put her out of her misery, she’s just becoming more embarrassing by the day.

Accept that you f*cked up hiring Levein, then hiring Stendel, then buying a whole load of players who you couldn’t afford and turned out to be sh*te, and only managed to win four games out of thirty.

The only person Budge and Hearts fans should be blaming for their situation is Budge herself. Not the league, not the other clubs (blaming St Mirren for your own failings is so 1986), not the voting structure, and not the Covid.

I only listened to a bit of her pish but saying that the voting structure is not fit for purpose and that the lower league cubs could vote to torpedo reconstruction then not play.  Seems to me she wants the top league to have more votes.

She is saying what she has done all along "vote for me, save hearts".

That video was a close second to Cummings made up nonsense - this daft bat has deemed that the voting structure is not fit for purpose...................doesnt she know that to change that structure needs (youve guessed it) a massive vote from the clubs to change it?

But her solution is to turn the SPFL into a dictatorship? Isnt that what she was bleating about last month?

She is an utter spangle and sounded either pished or on some prescription drugs there.

p.s. was that the fabled "school view lounge" she was filming at?

A top league of 14 and a joined up plan to make sure that lower league clubs got access to a higher proportion of funds for a season - that is what should have happened. That's not going to happen as there are too many clubs focused only on what they can get for themselves rather than the health of the wider game that they depend upon.

I can completely understand why lower league clubs aren't prepared to vote for any of these proposals. For them its rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic.

Time for us to move on now and accept the demotion. Fair enough fight for an increased parachute payment but the league reconstruction stuff is done and Budge is making an absolute arse of herself now.  Most of the clubs in Scotland are effectively getting a raw deal, we don't have a monopoly on that. At least we will likely survive whereas dozens of clubs may not.

A reasonable Hearts supporter. We should have him stuffed!

Genuinely reckon Hearts might be fucked if they can't offer partial refunds and they're clinging this hard to staying up.

No Ann Budge just holds the fans in contempt and wants to claw as much cash out of them as possible at every turn. She doesn't understand football and how the loyalty aspect works. The club should have offered fans a refund and 99% of fans wouldn't have asked for it anyway - we all act as benefactors, particularly in times of crisis. It just lacks class the way she's gone about this as well, not at all unexpected unfortunately.

I’d say it’s the people demanding the refund who don’t “understand football and how the loyalty aspect works.”
