Talbot aren’t far away. Maybe 3/4 players short.  Fine margins in the 2 home games. 2 very good strikes from Ferguson were the difference yesterday. That’s what quality and experience brings. Need an experienced goalkeeper as the youngster is costing goals (he was at fault for not reacting for Darvel’s first), a quality midfielder to create chances and one or two strikers.

I would say not being far away is 1 or 2 players not 3 or 4,

The goalie was not at fault at the first goal great strike from fergie off the bar and Moore reacted first to score!

The problem the young goalie has is being 1st keeper after leishman he's gonnie get compared to him with everything he does. R away supporters allowed in the bar for a drink on sat?

Mon the papers

Folk forget that Andy was quite raw when he came to Talbot. Dealing with the ball at his feet was heat in mouth stuff for a spell at the start but he worked on his weaknesses and was well coached.

The new fella needs a bit of time before the jury return their verdict.

Always a tough place to go but will be even tougher tonight. Trialist on the bench - anyone know who it is/position? If he plays I wonder what are the odds on Shankland getting on the score sheet...

Trialist named as Tarek Abed on the Troon twitter feed. Shankland in the starting line up.

I know we keep saying it's early days but  can't see where our goals will come from. Alao, We really need a couple of bully's in midfield. Hopefully stay up but it's going to be a long season.

100% behind this team to get it right.

There is no chance of relegation, think realistically will end up 5th. Few things just not going right from injuries, decisions and yes the lack of a goal scorer however not all that far away. I don't think league position does justice.

The team was needin changes. He’s done that it’s a mentality tae be a winner doesnae happen overnight.
Patience is needed wi young boys. Thurs talent there. We’ve let a lot o experienced players go at once and the culture needs time to be bred again, too many away at wance in imo.
When tucker took ower we wur hopeless but in 3 years he built a team for the next 20 with wan or 2 teams built roon the previous wan.
Wull he do it again?  Be harder wi the money goin aboot but he deserves the chance tae try.
