There is no chance of relegation, think realistically will end up 5th. Few things just not going right from injuries, decisions and yes the lack of a goal scorer however not all that far away. I don't think league position does justice.

Plenty would have said the same about Kilwinning last season and we all know how that ended up. The lack of goals is a concern although it is still early days but the performances across the first 5 games has generally been poor.

Just going by the results, at least the goals against are few as well so it's not disastrous. Hopefully everyone can remain patient with the young additions to the team.

Trialist named as Tarek Abed on the Troon twitter feed. Shankland in the starting line up.

Was going to guess Craig Slater but he's not a right winger and has had various clubs in-between.

It's Tarek Abed. Sorry if it sounded like a mystery 😅

If we finish mid table we'll be doing well.

Apart from Slooves the signings at this stage look poor.

Know a guy who coached him when he was younger. Apparently "a hard working right winger".

Its strikers we're crying out for.

Good to see Boylan involved last night.

Think Thomson looks a right good prospect and Boyd really needing a goal.

Also unlucky with the Schoneville injury as he may turn out a good player for us.

It takes time to settle at Talbot and these players have been thrown in.

We could do with playing 4-4-2 as whoever plays up front is isolated whenever we're attacking. Squad is unbalanced with too many midfielders and not enough strikers

Remember the good old days we played 2 uptop we were unstoppable. Some absolute great partnerships over the years.

Jesus man, Talbot fans get a grip of yourself. You are 5 games into the season nothing is won or lost in August.

Are you all so used to success that when it falls off for a period your whole world just falls in on itself.

There's clubs in the West who are struggling to put a team out each and every game. But the players, coaches, committees and what fans they have turn up do their bit and enjoy it cause it's their team.

It's not all about the winning; it's about being a part of your club and getting enjoyment and satisfaction from that alone.

If all you want is constant success, go follow you know who.

Wow. Imagine getting annoyed at fans who want their club to win.
