HeartsOfficialMoaner
That fishing one. I'd been looking all around West Africa. What is the British flag for? Anyone?

Bit depressing that the easiest way to find it was searching for slave fort. Edited April 27, 2020 by welshbairn

I searched for Portuguese colonies first because of the name of the boy in the football shirt, then started on British colonies.

I realised it was a Streetview image rather than just a photo, and there aren't many countries in West Africa that have had that treatment. I tried Senegal first, then Ghana, and as I was going west-to-east I found it quickly. Going along that coast, every town has a slave prison, slave museum, slave castle... it's horrific.

Yeah I started on the British Caribbean islands then switched to West Africa.

I can't quite remember how I got there. The running track so not just a football stadium and the colour of the seating is not usually green. Kind of along they lines.

Left a tiny bit of Arabic in, but other than that there wasn’t much

It's been an ongoing dispute the last few years. Leadhills folk say Wanlockhead never proved they were the highest, they just claimed it, and got the benefits. Supposedly Wanlockhead has the highest point, but on average Leadhills has a higher elevation. It's pretty smooth and heavily grazed, and very grassy. The path is maintained. I can see something jaggy near the shore in the centre of the picture, but I can't think what it might be. I tried a couple of film locations with no luck so I think I'll need a clue.

If you zoom in to the only eye-catching thing in the picture it might help, it's really out of place.
