traffordab
Big blow for them losing most of best players. Feel a bit for them as they will only ever be used as a stepping stone as a club by players and management somewhere to learn with no pressure from fans etc. Can see a few those players popping up at juniors in the wosfl or outright junior leagues. -
cmontheloknow
what 'outright junior leagues' would want Glasgow players? The 'outright junior leagues' in the East don't want to cross the M8 let alone sign players who might travel it!
glensmad
Neither will there be any "juniors in the wosfl".
traffordab
Always liked the boy slattery , mcnab tall lad at back is decent. They'd be my pick of the bunch. Take it the vale have lost a 'diehard' supporter now the lad mcgonigal has left. Decent player though bit overrated imo.

traffordab
So basically no longer a bishopbriggs club for adult over 18 football. Junior club in west of scotland playing out of govan and under 20 team. Briggs was never a goer for a junior or senior club. You need roots in a community spanning generations of adult football. Rossvale will forever be type cast so to speak as youth football team(s) -

Why was Jon Connolly the Fauldhouse manager? Because of his contacts locally in West Lothian or to bring in Glasgow area players to help them win east region trophies? You do realise that it's only around a 30 minutes drive from the city centre in Glasgow to somewhere like Whitburn or Armadale? People are taking this anti-junior thing too far sometimes. The east region south section is clearly in a death spiral now but that doesn't mean that they won't potentially want to sign former Rossvale players. -

Of course I realise how far away these wee timewarps are from civilisation. However they are far more likely to recruit from the Falkirk / Edinubrgh area. The Rossvale players however are unlikely to want to jump into that league - why would they? First two players announced to have signed up elsewhere have stayed in Rossvale's division. -
LongTimeLurker
Given Fauldhouse's new manager used to be at Arthurlie recruiting from the west appears to still be very much on the agenda. -

I would very much doubt that any of the players leaving Rossvale will be playing in a lower division than Rossvale are currently tbh

They will be doing very well if it's an upgrade on last season as they did very well. You'd expect the manager to be talking positively about the squad he's put together.
