You are desperate for as many teams as possible to pull out so you have half a chance to get into the lowland league. Lowlives the lot of you always have been always will be. You lot will still find a way to f**k it up so you rubbing your hands in glee will well and truly come back to haunt you. Enjoy this west of scotland league because its where you will be for at least the next decade. You seem like a well adjusted individual.
Burnieman
Why go with four weeks in the hope that the Scottish Gov let’s fans in. Risking clubs and players in process. Why not delay until more information as Highland league has done I've explained that. Just because the WoS are tearing themselves apart, the LL, EoS and SoS are quite happy to start, and it was great.

Arthurlie1981
I am sure the rule of 6 doesn’t cover a workplace.

We had five options drawn up and settled on the South Lower concourse, usually used to house the opposition fans. A temporary partition was installed, non-slip mats rolled out and wipe-down chairs for each player and coach. It’s not an ideal solution but keeps the group in one location in a socially distanced way. what I meant was it is easier to socially distance in a concourse as opposed to a dressing room, even a modern one.

But you do need to be 2m socially distanced from other adults. If the Blackburn dressign rooms can take 9 adults with 2m social distancing, fair play but they must be huge. I suppose showers can be used to change though.

I have been involved in discussion around a work place and we were told by a very senior public health official that it could be 1m with mitigation’s (intact he said that it could be 0.5m with mitigation but that 2m was best). The pin all of the decisions on the organisation and risk assessments to determine what is best. If you notice there is not a lot of sector specific guidance out there and there is a good reason for that!!

We can reduce it to 6 and split across three rooms and move the refs back to their normal rooms, but we wanted to keep the main part of the building closed where the officials are normally located. All seemed to work well today and we were praised by the ref observer. Officials are asked for feedback on Covid protocols observed at games.

In my sector I must remain 2m from adults for any exposure more than 15m. We have a strong union though.

I am not saying that the same for this and if there was unions maybe it would be different but they don’t.
gaz5
I think its fair to say that giving it a go for 4-6 weeks wasn't really disputed. If there's no prospect of fans or Govt grants at that point, then perhaps a pause may be required. However, there seems to be some optimism that we'll see progress on fans/money by then, fingers crossed.Even though we got gubbed today, it was great to see competitive football again, smiles on people's faces. Never underestimate the power of football. We need fans back.Yeah I think 4-6 weeks to see how things go is a fair enough way forward, if we have a clear break point and clear options at the end of that. I said that to our committee when we had the conversation. But I think everyone will have different opinions on how things are going, based on their experiences of it so far. This last few weeks hasn't been positive for us and, for me personally, in the thick of it, easily the worst I've had in this role to the point I didn't care about the game today by the time we got there, because there was so much else going on around it making it a circus.I'll not go into detail, but if this week is the sign of things to come just to be able to put 11 players on a park to fulfil a fixture, the things I we're having to ask of people, tests, positive results, dealing with track and trace, I don't think it's sustainable.I got booked today as a player for the first time in over 10 years. It was about the only thing I smiled at all day as I'm always on at the boys about silly bookings for dissent when I was terrible for it as a player, first time on the teamlines in over a decade, nothing changes! [emoji1787]But given how things have progressed through the day today, we now expect to be out of the game for the next 14 days, based on initial feedback to be confirmed tomorrow.I know not everyone will have had the same experiences, but I know from speaking to others who's opinions I value in similar positions that I'm certainly not alone in thinking our jobs are becoming almost impossible and certainly not something that we (I) get the enjoyment from that I did 7 months ago.I'm obviously happy that lots of people are excited to see the football back and I understand that, I thought I would be too. But from speaking to lots of people in the game on the ground I feel like there are plenty of people who it's doing nothing at the minute but making them miserable. And those people don't really have much of a voice, as soon as any legitimate questions or concerns are raised they're jumped in for being negative/soft/whatever because theirs is a very different experience of Return to Football under Covid than others. I think it's safe to say that given the madness around us, not everyone is having the same experience, that's for sure.To the WoS league's eternal credit, they have at least catered for the people who it isn't all positive for with an option. As have the LL and I believe the HL. I think the only "Professional" league that hasn't is the EoS, which was my initial answer. Why are all teams in the East happy to continue? The answer, realistically, is because they have no choice. "Happy" is a relative term. [emoji1787]
