lumos
Talking total shite.... Shame your clubs only claim to fame came to a rather pedestrian end tonight....And to think if you could only have taken 1 point from us last season...

We can naturally beat a top flight team 3-0 whereas they have to prey on the serious illness and perhaps DEATH of others to do so. Disgraceful club. Aye but how many 50/50s did ye sell.

Neither had Kevin Nisbet, until he'd dropped down and done alright. Dom Thomas is a Premiership level player, would take him over Kiltie.

He's had 2 clubs and roughly 7 managers that all thought the same thing, not quite good enough for a consistant start in the top flight.

If Thomas is a Premiership level player then why did no other Premiership club want him in the summer?Kiltie has done the business at this level, Thomas hasn't, that's why we kept one over the other. Your only point of reference here is their performances in the Championship, which is completely irrelevant to how they'd do in the top flight.

I think the best we can hope for is for the young boys to play as well as possible, to see what it's like up against a full-time outfit and to learn some stuff from the first-team players who they'll be playing with in the team. Hopefully a couple of them are able to show the manager what they can do in any case. To be fair the average Pars side was younger than the Killie side... craigkillie
We could have put two 5 year-olds into our normal team and probably had a higher average age than Dunfermline too, not sure what that's supposed to prove. Killie handed out debuts to 10 players tonight (albeit one was to 35 year-old Colin Doyle).
D.A.F.C
A draw against clyde is enough.Does GD come into it if we tie with falkirk?Or do we go through as we beat them?

Falkirk deserved the win last night no doubt, bit flat from us at times but we still had a few openings and we look like we'll create plenty no matter who we're up against. Goodwillie had a great and probably easier chance than the one he scored right at the start so if he scores that the game might've panned out differently. Feel we could've nabbed an equaliser if we started really pushing forward 10mins earlier than we did towards the end.

So the Premier is that far removed from the championship, that the level they performed at the level below can't be indicative on who's the better player? If Ross Millen can play every week in the Premiership, pretty safe to say Dom Thomas can.
Coooombe
If Ross Millen can play every week in the Premiership, pretty safe to say Dom Thomas can. Except for the, you know, years of evidence that suggests that he can't.

SLClyde
Tomorrow night will be a case of how many Killie want. Assuming they’ll play a fairly strong team as well, do Killie have any international call ups?
CM.
We're going to lose these next 2 games by an aggregate of about 13-0. Don't think Killie can qualify now so that might impact their team selection a little. If they're worried about their better players getting injured then they shouldn't be, we won't even get near them
craigkillie
I keep forgetting this game is even on tomorrow. I suspect it will be first team players playing, maybe some of the guys who've spent most of the season on the bench (Haunstrup, McGowan, Whitehall etc).
shawfielder
We would be better forfeiting both our remaining games, 3. 0. Defeats would be better for our goal average.

Whilst you wouldn't fancy us just now, it's also not completely impossible that Killie pick a weak side, we might nick a point or two and then get third spot in the group which is a decent whack of extra prize money.
The Moonster
Dumbarton with about 6 players out this evening. Lumping on Falkirk would be advisable.

No chance of a postponment? Some tempting odds on several markets for our tie tonight but I will probably wait on Killie line up getting announced before betting anything.
