Aim Here
Division A Round 1 PnBMathematics doesn't make any huge blunders, but slowly gets his position whittled down pawn by pawn. Curmudgeon
Division A Board_stupid beats markf268 by resignation. No blunders from my opponent, but a series of small wins was enough to deliver the points.

Thanks again for the game @SweeperDee Usual case of me just not paying attention and leading myself into a forced checkmate/M2. Well played.

I was going to resign a few moves back but decided to play the 'how long can I hold out' game. I think that will be my new tactic going forward. And you're going to have to work harder if you want to take my World's Most Stupid Stupid Stupid Chess Player crown, as I have literally nothing left up my sleeve. Look forward to the return. pleslie99
Pleslie999 draws with pnbmathematics by agreement. Close game as usual. After we traded off all the pieces it was destined for a draw. I offered as I couldn't see a way to win but no doubt would've blundered my way to a defeat. Analysis seems to think I was ahead most of the game but it didn't feel that way, always felt like I was having to move pieces to defend something. Well played @mathematics

Aim Here
Division A Round 3 Channelling my inner Eric Rosen, I 'blunder' my queen on move 5, and checkmate markf268 on move 7. AimHere beats markf268 by disgusting tricksiness.

Apologies for the delay in responding - I didn't get a chess.com notification, for some reason. Well played, good luck for the rest of the tournament - I need to short my shit out, etc.

Thanks @EvilScotsman for a very tough match. I thought I was in a decent position, but the engine disagrees; still, I'm happy enough to lose as long as I'm forcing you all to play well, that in itself is an improvement on last year!
BaSeDG0DSA1NT
Saint beats RBWatson by resignation. I know nothing about chess so not really qualified to analyse a game however I'll give my opinion on how I felt/thought whether right or wrong about our game. I don't know openings and was unsure what your opening routine was however I felt confident as you allowed me in the first 5ish moves to control centre of the board and develop a lot of my pieces, and I felt from then I had control and in a strong position to deal with whatever you were throwing at me. I noticed early I was ahead in pieces so just took every available trade as I felt in a better position with a lot of my pieces developed where as a lot of yours hadn't moved. Once again I have absolutely no idea what I am chatting and looking at the analysis I came from behind to win so don't listen to a word I say All the best for the rest of the season and I look forward to the return leg.
