We do?

Murray, Dow, McManus, Thomas, Turner. All had big moments in a Dunfermline jersey. We're just bang out of form at the minute.

Well let's hope they have more on Saturday.

Pars fans predicting a comfortable Hearts win are probably doing so based on a false impression that we have been comfortable in most of our games this season. Tuesday night was very much an exception, in many games, including perhaps even in the Scottish Cup Final, Hearts have not got going until we've gone a goal down.

Ultimately we'll probably comfortably win the league by sheer weight of resource, but so far this season there has been a lot of evidence that there are many weaknesses that can be exploited.

Nah, we're basing it on us being pish just now and shitting it* in away games.

*Shitting it more than we are currently doing in home games

The biggest problem we had at EEP was our midfield having a shitemare.  Frear and Wighton on the wings, Lee, Naismith and Halliday at walking pace in the centre.

Every game we've struggled in has been because our midfield have exposed the defence by playing with no tempo. Avoid that and we should win comfortably

The performances have generally ranged from poor to adequate most of the season, but the large majority of our wins have still been comfortable ones. Aside from the Arbroath away game and a 5/10 minute spell in each of the Ayr and Inverness games, we've never really looked in danger of not winning any of them. Our last 6 wins have all been by 2+ goal margins.

We are beatable, evidently, and the key to that seems to be pressing us from the start and getting a couple of goals ahead, otherwise we've usually got enough firepower to win with a bit to spare. Most teams haven't been able to do that so far, although our last game against Dunfermline was one of the exceptions.

Let's get Banks on for this, there are goals to be had against Hearts shite back line. Combine that with Neilson having the tactical knowledge of a fish supper if we can nullify Boyce then we can take something from this game.
Our players obviously raised their game for the last Hearts game hopefully they will do the same as we have been in a rut recently. Or we get pumped regardless no chance I'll be watching the stream £18 ffs emoji38.png

Just on that point, is the Hearts stream the most expensive in Scottish football?

Not the most expensive I think there are 2 in the top flight that charge £20. But it's certainly the least value.

Out of curiosity are any pars fans intending on paying the £18.50 for this?

There'll be a few nutcases paying for it. Hesgoal or vipleague will have a stream of it.

Last Pars player to score at Tynecastle (during regular play anyway)?
Declan McManus.
Another few tomorrow please.

Jim Hamilton was the last one to do it in the league in 2006

The last player to score for the pars against Hearts in the top flight was Marius Zaliukas at east end park

I was at that 1-1 at Tynecastle when Hamilton scored (by pretty much carrying the ball across the line!).

Fortunately I was living in Aberdeen in season 11/12 so missed most of our games. A grim season.
